About IMS / Dry Needling
Intramuscular stimulation (IMS), also called dry needling, uses a fine, solid needle placed into tight, irritated muscle to help it release and to calm sensitive nerves. It helps with stubborn muscle pain and restricted movement. You may feel a brief cramp or twitch as the muscle lets go, and your practitioner explains each step before starting.
Other disciplines may offer this depending on practitioner scope.
