ICBC & WorkSafeBC Claims

Hurt in a car accident or at work? Come in. We handle the paperwork.

No referral needed. Bring your claim number and we bill ICBC or WorkSafeBC directly, coordinate every discipline you need and send the reports so you can focus on getting better.

How It Works

Three steps from claim number to first visit.

1

Report your claim

Open your claim with ICBC (1 800 910 4222) or WorkSafeBC (1 888 967 5377) and note your claim number and the date of the accident or injury.

2

Book and share your details

Book online or call us. Add your claim number, claim specialist and insurance details to your intake form and we set up direct billing before you arrive.

3

Start treatment

Your first visit is a full assessment. Your practitioner builds a coordinated plan across physio, RMT, chiro and kin as needed and sends the reports.

ICBC Claims

Car accident injury rehab in Richmond

Whiplash, back pain, headaches, concussion symptoms and anxiety after a crash are all treatable, and ICBC pre approves a set number of visits in the first 12 weeks. You do not need a doctor’s referral to start.

Pre approved treatments after a crash

  • Physiotherapy · 25 visits
  • Registered Massage Therapy · 12 visits
  • Chiropractic Care · 25 visits
  • Acupuncture · 12 visits
  • Active Rehab (Kinesiology) · 12 visits

Visit counts are set by ICBC and may change. Your practitioner can request extensions if you need more care.

What we need to bill ICBC directly

  • Your ICBC claim number
  • Date of the motor vehicle accident
  • Your claim specialist's name and contact information
  • A signed ICBC billing consent form and a credit card on file

More than 12 weeks since your accident, or need more visits? We can submit an assessment request to ICBC on your behalf. Vitality is independent from ICBC and offers direct billing as a courtesy, so please keep in touch with your claims specialist about your claim.

Common Questions

Claims, answered plainly.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No. For both ICBC and WorkSafeBC claims you can book directly with us. We recommend seeing your doctor as well so your injury is documented on your medical file.

Is there anything to pay at the clinic?

For approved ICBC and WorkSafeBC visits we bill the insurer directly and there is no user fee. If a visit is not approved or your claim is closed, standard rates apply and we will always tell you first.

Can I see more than one type of practitioner?

Yes. ICBC pre approves several disciplines at once, and our team coordinates your plan so physiotherapy, massage, chiropractic and active rehab work together rather than in isolation.

What if my accident was more than 12 weeks ago?

We can submit an assessment visit request to ICBC on your behalf. Call or email us with your claim details and we will take it from there.
